Jessica Smith Sandbach
My friend is approaching 40 and she said to me do you think Jess you have had the best 37 years of your life or do you think the best 37 are to come? Well that got me thinking cos I have had a fantastic life so far but I still think the best is yet to come....Forever the optimist me.... What do you think?

Best thing, though, is first thing in the morning when you can genuinely ask yourself: "What's going to happen to me today?"

I always think what excitement is going to happen today and then it is and it does...very bizarre never a dull momento
My birthday is coming up very soon. I'm not looking forward to it. If the times I'd had were the best I could have, then there is this huge sense of irretrievable loss. If the best years are to come, I don't feel it in my gut so I'm not looking forward.
Birthday blues, ignore me.

Well if my next 37 years are anything like my first 41 then I'll be happy coz I'll realise that my maths now will probably be as bad as my memory will be then! So, I'm bound to be happy coz I won't remember to care a monkey's uncle! I'm glad that's cleared up! What was the question again? bs

Optimism is great. I love it! Life may not always work out as we expect .. but what the hell. I just helps to keep us going. Lots of smiles please and the baddies can go get lost!!
