Messy Detox

by JessicaSmith @ Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 - 16:24:07

I'm on a three day Detox. For three consecutive days I have to drink 1.5 ltrs of Wild Fruit flavoured water containing all sorts of wonderful healthy things that are going to cleanse my body. I like the bit which says on the packet can help your body to better cope with eliminating toxins and stubborn fatty deposits. haha I have visions of dogs being dragged to the vets and stubborn fat cells clinging on

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 - 23:51:17

mouthI am seriously worried about the missing spider!
Do you think I swallowed it?? AAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGrrra
They say you eat many in your sleep...shudders!
For the 5p phenom peeps I have come across three recently....one at the entrance to the petty station, one at the till when I bought my lottery ticket today and one in a bunch of flowers I bought myself from Waitrose!
Now don't tell me that's not Bizarre and a real strange one!

The Apprentice

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 - 23:36:39

Did anyone watch The Apprentice? Ben had to go he made poor strategic decisions but worse yes worse he slagged off his team members!! Always a no no!! You have to show leadership! You have to stick by your team! The lady's team leader in my opinion should have been commended on her performance!

Chicken Little

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 - 21:33:50

Ickle man has been to see Chicken Little with Mum & Dad and tomorrow night he is off to the North East for the weekend with his Geordie Dad...why i man haha...RRRRRR I will miss him
He is soooo adorable...tonight he tidied his room out of the blue and said he did it to earn money haha

Tomorrow day I am off with him so we will do something exciting!!

Mum cooked a wonderful Lamb casserole tonight with baked potato and cabbage...FAB with a capital F

Chief Tester

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006 - 21:20:26

Last night I was chief tester for a new product which claims that you can lose inches by smearing yourself in green gel followed by wrapping yourself tightly in cling film....yes cling film!! Soooo many laffs I tell ya!
Anyway ickle man wrapped me in and I shuffled like a penguin to bed....It got extremely hot at one point infact a burning sensation, followed by looking like I'd had too much sun.
I remember looking at a spider on the ceiling above my bed thinking I hope that doesn't drop in my mouth if i fall asleep...

Woke up this morning still wrapped in cling film and no sign of spider haha

Sharks Aaaaaaaaaaaagragh

by JessicaSmith @ Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 - 21:30:58

Today we've been to the Blue Planet Aquarium near Ellesmere Port. The first picture is some fish that have no eyes..Quite incredible really that they live in such dark conditions that they have evolved without any eyes just the space where they should go...Bizarre
The second picture is a sting ray and ickle man took great delight in touching it a lot.
The third pictures are mermaid purses...FF4 today 30% of all sharks are born from a purse..dog fish for example...amazing

Then we went to see the sharks and they need to see a good dentist haha, three sets of teeth and half of them hanging off..shudders

Later we went for tea in Frankie & Benny's... Nicky and Yvonne downed two bottles of wine as I was driving...we had some delicious food, I had a cheese burger..chief trougher

On the way home we called at the Whacky Warehouse so the kids could have a play...Me Nicky and Yvonne all went down the big slide a couple of times..lol..

Crooks Great Day Out

by JessicaSmith @ Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 - 09:19:27

Did anyone read about the launch party for a new footie magazine called Balls?
Anyway it promised a lavish party near the new Wembley stadium, the chance to win a £20k car VIP tickets to the FA cup final and welcomed by models...What more could a crook want? Turns out the only guests were conmen, thieves and drug dealers.
After they were greeted by the glamorous laydees they were identified with hidden cameras then as they took a walk down the staged Wembley tunnel..they were arrested!
Apparently we can see the highlights on MacIntyre's Big Sting 8pm Wednesday Channel 5!

Last night I watched Elvis the early years on Sky with ickle man..My friend called round on the way back from Warwick and I warmed up some Focaccia bread..whilst ickle man ran excitedly up and down the stairs in his red and white jimjam bottoms lol

Went to bed early and now I am full of the joys of Spring as it's Half Term...what excitement will today bring?

Look What's Turned Up At the local scrapyard!

LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL LIVERPOOL

by JessicaSmith @ Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006 - 18:07:31

Liverpool, Liverpool Liverrrrpppooool
hehe I think that will give us a lift for the rest of the season hehe

Last night I went out with Nicky, Yvonne & Jayne.By the time I got in from Oxford it was 7.50pm and the girls were hassling me get to ready so I managed to throw myself together quickly and join them in the Wheatsheaf! We just did a tour of the pubs in Sandbach..I was driving, by the end of the evening the girls were mega drunk and we did have a giggle...we called for chips on the way home then i zonked into bed...was soo tired as the day had consisted of me being up and out early, driving to Oxford and as soon as I arrived at DAF Trucks it was full on work right up until 5pm didn't even stop for lunch! Then of course the return leg...with a jam on the M6 so I phoned my Dad and got detour directions!

Today was up and out early, went to the tip, waitrose and a supplier in Manchester all before 12.30... oh excitement then to the farm to get some nice fresh veg...Big mushrooms..too

Well Peeps

by JessicaSmith @ Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 - 20:59:19

mushyWell peeps two things...

1. My hairy dryer stand turned up.....YAY patience is a virtue

2. My parent's have been round for tea and I threw something together and it turned out really wonderbra!

It was roasted chicken smeared with butter basted in chicken stock with lemon wedges..

Curshaws was busy we had a couple of bowls of tomato and broccoli soup..delicious

On the way back from lunch at Curshaw's with Commander we popped to Sandbach market where I couldn't resist some flat mushrooms the size of dinner plates!! I also bought some Strawberries and fresh raspberries and an onion ( that's exciting haha)

Anyway I just scooped out the stalk of the mushroom and fried it with some olive oil, some garlic cloves, onions, crumbled bread, fresh tomatoes then put them in the oven sprinkled with loads of cheese...Haven't made them for a bit but they were fantastic....with a capital F!!

I also did some tomatoes on a baking sheet in balsamic vinegar slow cooking and some salad potatoes in rock salt and olive oil

Anyway it all tasted YUMMY

I dished up fresh strawberries and raspberries for a sweet and voila!! VERY FULL and even I was impressed!!

Funny moment....whilst walking back from Curshaws to my car Commander said hey that guy in that BMW M3 has just craned his neck at us..Jess Jess he's going into that car park..I'll hang back and then you can start up conversation she joked...lol what is she like!!
Anyway the funny bit was when we got to the carpark it was a guy we knew so when he rolled down his blacked out windows to talk to us we just burst into hysterical laughter..Not cos of him but cos we knew him..poor guy..he's really lovely too...and so are his wife and family!!!

Ties

by JessicaSmith @ Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 - 16:26:54

Trout

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 - 20:52:11

Tonight I've cooked trout with asparagus and it was fab!!
Did a bit of retail therapy after leaving the orifice and got some Summery things from my favourite shop Emporium in Sandbach! Have to give them a plug cos me and PJ spend soo much time in there.... and the girls in there are sooo nice.
My lovely friend Avril has been to see me today they were in Mallorca for the weekend and she has been showing me the pictures.
I am still so scared about going away on my todd.
I'm at DAF trucks on Friday again that will be less than fun sitting on the M6 Friday night haha
I am already looking forward to tomorrow as I'm going for lunch with Commander to Curshaws soo cheers!!
Funny story last night went to visit my friend...it was absolutely horizontal rain when I left...ickle man was fast asleep and I decided to reverse off the drive.....bad move...got stuck in the mud and after several wheel spins stirling moss style, managed to nearly take the gatepost off..haha

Last Night

by JessicaSmith @ Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 - 12:50:17

Well last night's little excursion to Waitrose with my son cost me £52!! Admittedly the shop for my son did include some shampoo and hair conditioner for me...however the things you do for love!!

My son turned up at about 5.45 with a recipe in his hand...I'm doing this Mum...I just need you to come with me as I don't recognise some of the ingredients. Well it was a pasta and sauce recipe..not too expensive I thought haha

Mum I need to buy double of everything as I'm going to have a practise tonight...bless

Oh and he bought her a single red rose in a vase too...well I did haha

About 8pm he excitedly phoned me to tell me that his practise had all gone very well and it was sooo nice he was going to take it to work and let the lads in the orifice sample it....haha

I went with ickle man over to Don's

My eldest son

by JessicaSmith @ Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 - 17:45:27

My eldest son PJ has phoned me up today and he is coming round shortly. He wants me to take him shopping, to help buy the ingredients to make his girlfriend Nicky a meal tomorrow...to show her how much he appreciates her....rrrrrrrrr bless
Don't you think that is wonderful? Well... I do... and he's my son...makes me very proud!
Bless

Hello just for Juzzzy!!

by JessicaSmith @ Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 - 21:54:11

Hiya Juzzzy I've had nothing to blog about...but here goes...
Friday night went out with the lovely Yvonne to the Wheatsheaf in Sandbach. Bumped into my eldest son who rushed over and gave me a big hug bless...made my weekend! Yvonne got talking to a guy that runs the local microlite farm place in Sandbach and I think he fancied her cos he's promised that we can have a free go! So we were gunna go today but the weather was sooo awful that we didn't...waah...can you imagine me in a microlite? Not sure if i can haha still quite excited about the prospect.

Yesterday the highlight was my Waitrose food shopping including some rather scrummy walnut bread!! I had a stint in A&E at the local hospital cos ickle man didn't feel too well with a headache and stomach ache and the nurse insisted he was checked over..He miraculously got better en route however he doesn't feel too well again this evening and is running a high temperature.

Ended up at the Trafford Centre today with ickle man we went to Tiggi's for our tea.
This is what we had

sunday 004sunday 005sunday 006DSCF0718

These are the red beads I bought, ickle man had a game. I bought some perfume in Selfridges & two tops..is that too indulgent? But what the heck to me from me...I keep thinking I wish I had a fella to treat me sometimes...haha

Oxford

by JessicaSmith @ Tuesday, Feb. 07, 2006 - 19:04:30

I've been to Daf Trucks in Thame and last night went out into Oxford
Well how beautiful is Oxford? I was very impressed
Had a couple of drinks in a tiny pub called the White Horse opposite the very grand library
white horse
Then went to a gorgeous place called Brown's for a meal. Picture this...high ceilings with sky lighting and lush greenery..Wow the food too was amazing!! I had warmed Camenbert which was Whole in it's wooden container which I have never seen before...followed by Trout and mashed potato which is my new favourite food...soooo very fabulous!! Oxford at night is sooo pretty I was so impressed there were people on bikes and the buildings are cool.....

Bakewell, Buxsom and Brownlow

by JessicaSmith @ Sunday, Feb. 05, 2006 - 23:52:04

Today I've been all the way to Bakewell for a Bakewell Pudding...amazingly the shops were pretty cool!!
pudding
On the way home I had a look round Buxton which I call Buxsom the crescent buildings are fab not sure why they've never been made into something very special. Over the years I've spent rather a lot of time in Buxsom, I used to have days out there, some of my parents friends live there, my cousin lives there, I've spent a fair bit of time in a Quarry there called doveholes, I even went on a go kart thing for my friends son's Birthday..in Buxsom! So Buxsom holds special memories...but I am especially in love with the buildings

Tonight I went with Nicky,Stuart and Yvonne to the Brownlow Inn in Congleton. Nicky's cousin Mark has just taken it over and he's come from South Africa with his family to start a new life....so it looks like we might frequent it a bit haha...had a very nice prawn sandwich...and we chilled by the log firefire

Weekend

by JessicaSmith @ Saturday, Feb. 04, 2006 - 20:52:11

Well today I have spent most of the day cleaning out my garage.........nasty pasty...infact horibilious...this is my new made up word so use it!! lol see if I can make the dictionary messy influence....It means so horible it makes you feel bilious...Like I said to my friend I'd rather be having a root canal

Anyways after three trips to the tip and a MACDONALD's for NRG I have finally won....Yay wunderbar...highlight was finding my favourite jeans in a huge black bin liner mountain of clothes!

Last night went to Sandbach with the lovely Yvonne...Yvonne and Nicky have just booked an all inclusive holiday to Cuba and asked me to go with them...so I'm thinking about it.......I was driving as usual so no alcohol passed my lips! We did a tour of the pubs and ended up in the Wheatsheaf...bumped into my eldest son which was cool and one of his mates bought me a drink....bless...then my friend insisted on us asking the landlord if he could spare a loaf of bread to toast on the fire haha of course he said no..waaaaaaaaah

Anyway today i was woken up a 7.45 yes 7.45 by the postman...wot...what on earth was he on at 7.45 on a saturday..bless...he was very apologetic...as I stood there looking wuff.....anyway it was worth it cos it was a new t-shirt...and I'm loving it

Tomorrow I'm heading to Bakewell for a look around and Monday I'm at DAF trucks and staying overnight in some hotel in Oxford...never a dull momento

I did lemony honey chicken, marinated peppers, prawns, avocado and grapes....followed by fresh blueberries, blackberries, strawberries with a large helping of fat free organic raspberry yoghurt...delicious!!

After they left I watched a film with ickle man on Sky it was cool some strut street dancing.

Today I am off to Curshaws in Sandbach for lunch with Commander Amanda who is still reeling from her encounter with Rio Ferdinand yesterday...bless

And we troughed on soup!! haha

Off out with Yvonne tonight in Sandbach!
