I am seriously worried about the missing spider!
Do you think I swallowed it?? AAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGrrra
They say you eat many in your sleep...shudders!
For the 5p phenom peeps I have come across three recently....one at the entrance to the petty station, one at the till when I bought my lottery ticket today and one in a bunch of flowers I bought myself from Waitrose!
Now don't tell me that's not Bizarre and a real strange one!

Erm, because I don't like the idea of them crawling into my mouth when I'm asleep.
But you obviously don't mind...

No no, we each eat on average, seven spiders a year. ON AVERAGE! That obviously means that some of us eat more, and some less. Being a bit of a big girly when it comes to spiders (that picture really gives me the shudders!) I just hope I am way below average in the nocturnal spider chompy stakes!

They do appear in your sleep, the spider fairy brings them. She's the slightly more sinister, off-the-wall cousin of the tooth fairy.
I know an old lady who swallowed a fly........Hmmm..I'm starting to think that this blog is populated with nursery rhyme characters and not real people! bs-

thats totally unfair to spiders, lets not forget, you are bigger and far more scary to them, after all would you want to be eaten!!!!
i had a very friendly spider in the shed at the bottom of the garden for years n years good old Arthur was always there for me when ever i wanted a chat ( a bit like prince charles and his plants!)
my personal favoritte is the red kneed tarantula..... -

We gobble up seven spiders each a year, apparently. Though how they check that is anyone's guess.
Besides, I'm far more worried about woodlice
