Things have been soo hectic, have had no time to blog.
Today guess who walked in the orifice?

It's Jim MacDonald from Coronation Street!
Does anyone remember him?
What about this? It's a picture made from bits of leather in a mosaic pattern. Very beautiful, hand made.Went over to Don's he was messing with his video camera taking pictures larking about. He has now earned the title Director!

Busy Busy

by JessicaSmith @ Tuesday, Apr. 11, 2006 - 22:54:20

Sunday was an excellent day at the Place in the sun exhibition. We saw one or two fabulous properties which I will blog about at some point soon. Eve and Steve insisted on picking up a Kebab on the way back from London, which was delicious!! Today was a mad one my financial advisor knocked on the door at about 11am and said do you realise your roof is down on your sports car and it's raining rather alot! At least 2cm of rain!! Anyway during the course of the meeting he asked me if we fancied doing some telemarketing for him, so if any of you need some Financial advice that's our next project!! His company is Platinum Financial Services Ltd. They are Independent Mortgage Brokers. He wants some wooden blinds so I'm going to arrange that too! At 2.30 had a meeting with Kev and Mark at the Brownlow Inn to do some upholstery work and then at 3.30 I was on the M6 to Birmingham to pick up some bathroom tiles for Don. It was 7.15 before we arrived home. Don was a little gem and fetched me and ickle man some Kebab for our tea. He was meeting his sister, niece and nephew off the M6, so he picked up his tiles and took off.
Tonight I'm having an early night as theres people coming to look at the house tomorrow morning

London

by JessicaSmith @ Saturday, Apr. 08, 2006 - 23:13:21

Been out for a meal tonight with Steve & Ev was gorgeous! I had goats cheese tart with cranberry sauce followed by pan fried Tandoori cod. The cod fillet was scented in a Tandoori marinade on a tomato concase stir fry with chive dressing. Ickle man had prawn cocktail followed by Italian chicken carbonara. Was yummy.
Tomorrow I have to get up early as we are going to London to the place in the Sun exhibition. Basically we are going to negotiate with developers to build upon the portfolio for www.hotpropertyabroad.com
Should be good. I didn't bet on the Grand National today...however I backed a horse for the first time properly ever on Thursday Steve put the bet on for me £50 and it won haha I won £165 and I was happy with that haha beginners luck and Steve if you're reading this thanks!! haha

Opening Night at The Limes

by JessicaSmith @ Saturday, Apr. 08, 2006 - 18:25:04

Well the opening night was a resounding success it was packed to the gunnells!! We managed to get all the painting done with 2.5hrs to spare haha...Loads of friends came that I'd not seen in ages and in some cases years. Slept at The Limes with Nicky, Stuart and Katie. Nicky made me up a bed, I woke up with a purple wall in front of my eyes thinking where am I? Wasn't too long before I realised, Nicky fetched me a drink fairly early and I had lunch with Nicky and Stuart, where we mulled over the night before. It really was a good bash! Things have been so hectic hardly had time to breathe haha although on Sunday we went to Cariba Creek at Alton Towers and had a great time with the kidsImage_501Image_50
Thursday night went out with Mum & Dad for a meal which was lovely
