Well it's been an eventful week, as ever never a dull mo! Today I took my Dad to Sheffield for his new car. That's my first time to Sheffield, never knew it was such a colourful place with all it's asian shops and restaurants. We went via Buxton & Bakewell, it was perfect weather for the top down! On the way home, drove by Chatsworth House what a magnificent house that is! The hills were fab too, thoroughly enjoyed the drive out! On the way back called to see Steve to get my Driving License photo signed and the guy next door to him Roly has started a new business road worthy Quad bikes!! Great fun! I think he should do well with the footballers out there. The black one is £2.5k and is automatic and goes 60MPH. The smaller ones start at £1.2k great for off road frolicks!! Had a bit of a win on the GG's yesterday and today I've never seen this before a win on every line on the scratch card! haha I am now £3 richer

Well done David Beckham!!

I've been helping my friend Sally move a whole skip full of rubbish then I watched the match at The Limes with ickle man. Stu did chips for everyone at the pub at half time and a BBQ afterwards, fab fun in the rain!

Friday went to a Wedding at Peckforton Castle with Don. What a beautiful place for a wedding, the weather was perfect, fabulous views of the Cheshire Plane and had a fab day! The bride looked gorgeous and congrats to Ann Marie & Steve they are a very happy couple and I wish them the best of luck! Funny moment I saw the vicar with a mobile phone as we entered the church! haha Made a few new friends had many laughs!! Never a dull mo! There is an amazing underground bar that they open later on which is in the round with a curved ceiling. The place had new owners just 2 days ago and they have plans to really put this building on the map! We had a bit of a pokey bedroom but it had a nice view of the green. Other news...my m8s horse has won Golden Jubilee Stakes at Ascot today 33-1! Congrats to them today too!!

Happy Fathers Day Dad

by JessicaSmith @ Sunday, Jun. 18, 2006 - 18:16:03

I've treated my Mum & Dad to lunch today at The Limes was really delicious! I had pate followed by Salmon yummy!! Happy Father's day Dad - love ya!
Friday night well I went out with my friend Angela, we went to Knutsford wine bar for a lovely meal I had prawns followed by sea bass. Later we went to The Braz in Alderley Edge followed by 161 in Hale, where we bumped into Bunty who I've not seen in a year! Anyway we had a very enjoyable evening, got a bit lost on the way home and nearly ran over a fox! haha Saturday went over to see Don we put garden furniture together with his cousin then went out for lunch with some of his friends to The Windmill in Macclesfield, followed by visiting an outfitters for a dinner suit for some ball they were all going to. Prior to all of that Don had to climb in through a window as his mate shut the front door and his keys were in the house! Doh. haha Played a game of pool when we got back. Last night went out with Sophie, Abbey and some others I made sure I drove so didn't get into their drinking rounds of jugs of redbull and vodka, haha or I would have been plastered! One of the barstaff followed me to my car and questioned whether I should be driving but on J2O's I think I was safe!! It was like being questioned by the police haha

Bring me sunshine

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Jun. 14, 2006 - 20:30:29

Bring me sunshine in your smile, bring me laughter all a while
In this world where we live there should be more happiness
So much joy you can give to each brand new bright tomorrow
Make me happy through the years never bring me any tears
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love

Bring me sunshine in your eyes, bring me rainbows from the clear blue skies
Life's too short to be spent having anything but fun
We can be so content if we gather little sunbeams
Be light hearted darlin' all day long keep me singing a happy song
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love

Bring me sunshine in your smile, bring me laughter all a while
In this world where we live there should be more happiness
So much joy you can give to each brand new bright tomorrow
Make me happy through the years never bring me any tears
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above

Haha Morecome and Wise

Happy Birthday Ickle Man!!

by JessicaSmith @ Sunday, Jun. 11, 2006 - 10:24:08

Today is ickle man's Birthday! 8 today!! Happy Birthday darling Love you!! xx
Thursday met up with Yvonne, Nicky, Stuart & Trevor for a bite to eat at The Limes haha no surprise there! I had scollops which were gorgeous!
Friday drove about in my car and sat with Yvonne in the sunshine in the garden getting very hot topping up the tan. Stuart had an important marketing job involving menus and local businesses! It was... put a short skirt on Jess and go and see the builders with a menu! haha Went to the Limes for tea met up with friends Jayne, Wayne, Yvonne & Nicky. Found a 5p! Later went to see my friend Don, checked out his new gym and kitchen plan. On the way home I left my handbrake on whilst I was driving, nearly had a fire, smoke was coming out of the rear wheel. How stupid was that? Fortunately I had to go back for my coat and Don noticed. Saved again haha
Yesterday went to watch the match at the Limes, with ickle man and two friends England did the job. Saw Steve & Ev. Ev had been to her home country Turkey and bought me the most lovely bracelet which is made from glass beads. The beads are to protect me from the Evil Eye, it's a Turkish tradition...wasn't that lovely of her! Bless! We then drove to the Trafford Centre where we watched X Men, followed by a meal at Est Est Est follwed by a trip to the arcade, Midnight feast when we got back and I think it all went quiet at about 12.30!Image_81

One of my embarrassing moments!

by JessicaSmith @ Friday, Jun. 09, 2006 - 09:29:23

When PJ was just a ickle toddler I took him to Crewe on the train to take something back to M & S. Well we struggled on the train with pushchair and bags, enjoyed the journey but it started to rain.
Arrived at Crewe station struggled up some more steps it was now raining very hard...lets get a taxi I said.
There was a long queue of taxi's outside the station so I stood loking at this white car and thought well he's obviously not going to get out and help so I lifted up the boot. His boot was jam packed full of tools, so I moved a few around to get the pushchair in and slammed the boot down for effect haha
Opened the back door of the cab got in with ickle toddler and bags.
Can you take me into town please I remember saying. This guy turned round sorry love I'm not a taxi driver I'm picking up my wife...stupidly I said well I'm not a pick up either...sooo embarrassed
Worst of all though as I was getting out with bags and toddler and he was helping me retrieve the pushchair his wife came along...more embarrassment I think I caused a world war..
Who's this she said what's she doing getting out of our car and I left him with all the explaining as it was raining
I got in the real taxi behind and the taxi guy said I watched all of that and you should be on TV with that one...I still blush now...it was the moving all his tools about and slamming the boot down that did it...seriously scarlet

Tell me your most embarrassing moments

Morning Has Broken

by JessicaSmith @ Thursday, Jun. 08, 2006 - 09:12:48

Wow what a fantastic morning!! I've bought some beers and traditional lemonade for anyone who might drop by for tuna and cucumber sandwiches!! haha
Well trying to recap on what I've done since I got home. Went to see Don on Friday night his sister was there and we stayed up talking until 4am. I'd left my car roof down and it was freezing. Friday day I met with friends for lunch Nicky, Stuart, Yvonne, Commander & my business partner all friends together that was fun. Saturday went to the Limes with Nicky for something to eat and ended up in Sandbach with the girls. We hit the bars and pubs and we ended up at some random party in a converted barn with amongst others an architect called Andrew that had read my blog just a few hours earlier whilst bored at work. He just stumbled across it and here he was telling me all about my life hahaha fame at last haha very bizarre. Another of the guests was a gay lad that entertained us all night with his witt and banter and I mean witty, hilarious the guy should be on tv! I want him out with me every weekend!
PJ's been round quite a few times this week, he is sooo brown and looks really well. He was full of the joys of spring cos whilst we've been away he's been in Zante with Dean Ashton. He said guys kept coming upto him asking for his autograph, so he pretended to be a lower league player too, just for laughs! haha
Today I'm off to the hygenist, what joy! haha Got the date wrong for Chester races it's next Tuesday and Bon Jovi had to be given a miss cos it's ickle man's Birthday at the weekend. Saturday night I've arranged for some of his friends to come over for a sleepover. Here's the agenda watch England match, cinema, meal out, arcade then hopefully midnight feast then sleep!!
The day before yesterday I had a major win on the GG's Stuart had once told me this story about a horse and I couldn't remember the jist but I saw it's name on the card and backed it. Well it won yeeeha I then had a major lecture from Stuart that I should never back horses on a hunch and it's the way to lose loads of money. When you win though you're just happy that you won! Although I will take his advice on board!

Mallorca

by JessicaSmith @ Wednesday, Jun. 07, 2006 - 21:58:40

Well this is me and ickle man on hols in Mallorca. The first snaps anyway... Sunsets, beaches, swimming, beautiful coves, boats, a very steep hill up to our apartment, fantastic views, log fires, loads of walking, lots of exploring, hot sunny weather. Hardly spoke to anyone all week, except Hola to everyone we met haha. We had a crisis when we moved the patio table to play battleships one morning only to have a swarm of wasps attack ickle man. 7 stings on one hand he had ;o( Anway we plunged it in water and it seemed to pull the stings out as it didn't swell up at all. Anyway guess what they send to deal with wasps nests in Mallorca? THE FIRE BRIGADE haha
