A compliment is a beautiful thing. It has the ability to make us shine from the inside. In addition to letting us know we're on the right track with something, it also communicates that someone noticed. This can be a powerful validation, so do it more often peeps!

‘a plum a day keeps a facelift away’

Purple food can prevent breakdown of collagen and slow the wasting of muscles. So go and get some peeps!! haha

To know only love - never hate
To know only Joy - and not sadness
To know how to laugh - not weep
To be winners - not losers
To never be foolish - just wise
To be full of hope - not despair
To be glad of enough - not want more

Well i've had a very busy weekend.. Friday night went out with Yvonne & Jacquie just a quiet one in Sandbach. I wasn't drinking and we were home early! Saturday my bro and his family were up... Helped Stu out for a couple of hours at the pub cos he had a wedding on, then went to see my sister in law Dippy Deb and brother Andy,my Nephew Richard and Niece Lucy. Mum & Dad had bought tickets for a circus so they took Rich, Lucy, ickle man & Deb. Me and my bro went to my house to watch the England v Portugal match! Deb arrived in the second half with Lucy saying I need water haha sounding just like Nikki off BB.... infact she sounds very like Nikki off BB! haha We were soo deflated afterwards, really hoped it was going to be our year, 1966 was before I was born!!! sniff... Later on Dad did a BBQ which was yummy. I caught up with my lovely sis in law DippyDeb then we went home and watched Oliver Twist ace. This morning we got up really early and took the kids to Chester Zoo. It was absolutely baking hot, we saw my favs the elephants and here's some of the pics. When we got back we were sitting in the garden absolutely boiled and all of a sudden the wind whirled around us really violently and dark clouds came overhead. We rushed about getting the washing in, putting the roof of my car up and collecting all the newspapers we were all reading. Haha I've never seen anything like it thunder, lightening, hail stones, very heavy rain, flash floods, trees everywhere...never a dull mo the children then all made their own pizzas with ham, pineapple, cheese & tomato sauce...followed by a sing song on the piano
PJ turned up with news of his girlfriend getting her 2.1 degree, so congrats to her! Well done Nikki!
