Studies have found that, when people write about their deepest thoughts and feelings in a journal, it can result in fewer doctor visits, fewer depressive symptoms, and enhanced immune system functioning. And this is besides the mental and emotional benefits of writing about your feelings and any problems, crises, or the joys that occur in your life.
When you keep a journal, you have the chance to sort out your thoughts and feelings about conditions, issues, and people in your life. Writing helps to clarify your ideas and get your problem-solving juices flowing. And when you look back on your journals, you can more easily see any patterns that you may have fallen into, or keep track of your progress in your goals. And most of all, you get to know the "real" you.
A journal is a great tool for self-expression and communication, and you can take it one step further, by sharing a journal with the important people in your life. Relationships of all kinds can be enhanced by a kind of mutual journal that you share with someone else. You could set up a "family journal," where everyone took time to put down their thoughts or feelings, or record memories, and then passed it on to the next person. Or you could have a "relationship journal" with a spouse or significant other, or a "friendship journal," which you share with your circle of friends.
So, why not put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard) and get started on a wonderful journey of self-exploration and strengthening your relationships?

Varied!!!!!!!!
My life is soo varied. Yesterday I was over at our new Depot in Chester had a hire car for the day that was one of the soft top Renault Megane's was quite nice.

Sorted a few things like vertical blinds, new pictures etc..Dropped off some DAF polo shirts for our customer Iceland's Golf day. Followed by a trip to the tip. Last night I started to pack up ickle man's bedroom as we are moving at the weekend. I can't believe how much stuff we have! Later watched Silence of the Lambs whilst sewing up my ickle man's new school trousers lol Today I am trying to arrange delivery of 3 sets of outside patio furniture complete with parasols so that they arrive before Thursday when the Hospitality unit is being collected to goto Frome via Bristol for the open day of our new Frome Depot. I am still chasing salesmen for names for the many flights to Amsterdam that we need to go to the Rai show in October. I am also chasing our Service Department to empty the trailer of all of its contents from the last show we went to....but apparently there is a broken down bus in the way so we can't open it out properly to get in! LOL
This is the bus!!! How cool!!

When we eventually get in it I need to package up all the Hino coats and send them back to Peterborough, also put the baseball caps somewhere safe, write an inventory list before it goes anywhere. Meanwhile the sign writer has been and changed the telephone numbers on the back of the trailer. I've just ordered 200 company ties for the group, sum logo paperclips and some pens gee..
I've also ordered Renault Trucks Calendars, DAF Trucks Calendars. Next it will be desk and pocket diaries and Christmas cards lol!!
At the weekend I am starting to move home followed by next week we are attending the Waste Management Show for three days at the NEC Birmingham so been chasing people for names for that!! Hopefully Monday the trailer will be back and then Friday we need to set it up for our Ride & Drive Event at a quarry in Derbyshire oooooooooooo I so love quarries can't wait for that!!! Followed by Friday night we are taking a load of clients to a charity Event screening the Rugby World Cup match on a 14ft by 10ft screen between England and South Africa, at Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire. Probably be a large bar bill!! Then on Sunday it's over to Truckfest Northwest at Haydock park. The rest of my day today has been sorting our Casino Evening on the 21st September in Chester and arranging a visit from 10 French Apprentices to our Stoke facility in early October. Tomorrow night I have a Festival of Transport meeting so not organised for that....and tonight more packing for my pending move so really it is all very hectic lol
The weekend in pictures
