Chicken & CiderOk so 500ml of cider put in a pan and boil until reduced by half...bonus you can drink the other 250ml lol.. 2 chicken breasts rub both sides with salt and ground allspice. Melt 20g butter in a frying pan chop 2 coxs apples and 250g of mushrooms and fry until golden...put to one side..melt 20g more butter and fry chicken breasts until brown on both sides..pop into cider and bring to boil..this is where i put in some celery..reduce heat and cook for 20mins. Put browned apples and mushrooms into the cider for last 5 mins and stir in 4 tablespoons of double cream...serve with mashed potato..was very yummy!
