I took my ickle man to see Neyo in Manchester tonight and everything was going brilliantly until Neyo walked on stage half way through his gig crying and said he had never not finished a performance before....then promptly left ;o( The promoter announced that the concert will be rescheduled for all ticket holders and that Neyo will be back when they can fit it in and he is better...so there you go..he lost his voice..think there is more to it though..like an unrealistic schedule!! What he did do was actually brilliant..what a performer..can't wait for the rescheduled date ;o) xx

no it's not cancelled in Liverpool yet. It's still going ahead as planned. However, ticket holders are advised to be aware of any local press or announcements throughout today as it is not 100% confirmed.

I was there and you could tell from the start he wasn't well and he kept saying "you'll have to bare with me as I'm feeling under the weather." I thought it was very harsh when everyone started booing him. People get run down and ill. It's a fact of life!

Aww bless him He looks really ill I hope he hasn't got swine flu. You can see how sad he is about letting his fans down. Fair play to him he is going to go back and re do the show. Look at Meat loaf when he did a no show at Newcastle and the fans did not get their money back or another show because his band played for 5 mins!!!! I hope he is feeling better soon and fingers crossed the rest of his shows will go ahead. I went to the neyo concert also.....NO the performance from the start was poor. I understand that if your ill your ill then the show should of been cancelled after claims that he felt ill early on we should never have been put into the situation of a half hearted performance and early finish. I think its so unprofessional of Ne-yo to not even make a statement today on what happens next for us that were there and truly disappointed!!!
In my situation for people like myself mine was a birthday suprise for my daughter and now its me that has to console her as she doesnt understand being young what happened and not having any information to give her as i dont no any myself i'm the one having to pick her up from her upset....I HAVE TO MAKE UP FOR IT!!!
If it were somthing that bad or just a fever then tell me why the hell are the other concerts going ahead tonight and tomorrow.....not the first time this week hes walked off stage i hear...good luck liverpool tonight lets hope he does a better job!!!!-

you are quite possibly one of the most inconsiderate and selfish people iv ever witnessed. it was clearly a present for your daughter and not for yourself because if you supported him in any way you wouldnt have made a comment like that. as for your daughter she may well be too young to understand the reasons behind the concert being postponed but im sure she enjoyed what she did get to see as he made a fantastic effort to put on a show for his fans. although he may have been ill long before the concert started, to cancel would have caused more upset because people would claim he didnt make an effort which leads me to explain why tonight may still go ahead. he is aware he isnt on top form but rather than roll over and accept that he doesn't want to let his fans down and feels the need to give his all! what a guy! bet you'll be there for the re-schedule even though his performance was "poor".

Yes i have been a ne yo fan and love his music and still do but now the excuses have changed. Me, my daughter and my partner were ill that evening. I was sick just before i left for the show and DIDNT phone in work that morning but DID go to work at 6am till 5.30pm and still made it to the gig.. oh yeah and then sat up till 5am consoling and explaining backing up ne yo on his illness to my daughter. Half hour sleep then back to work hmmmm still sick....So dont come at me like your his number 1 fan to someone you clearly know nothing about keep your opinion to yourself on shit you have know understanding!!!!!!

bonny i also took my daughters to ne yo in manchester and sarah i understand what you are saying. i dont think your heartless. i paid £280 for tickets for my daughters birthday party. my daughters been waiting to see ne yo for so long, she is so upset. my daughter said he was amazing but only did a few songs. i find it hard to understand why he was so ill to perform thursday but then performed "amazing" on friday. there were seats available in lpool but ticketmaster would not let us swap our tickets. ticketmaster are now saying thurs show wasnt cancelled just "finished early" so leagally they do not have to give money back r put on another show but are waiting for a response from aeg.they say there job is to get us in the building and for ne yo to come on stage and he did if only for a few songs. thats prob why he cried, he was forced on stage....

Thanks Bonny That idiot is just a guy being a guy that doesnt understand when you have children and they get let down like that its us mums thats always there to pick them up. I have to take my daughter to a Theme Park this weekend which will cost me another £150 to make up for it because shes been so upset. First concert waited a hell of a long time an it was a suprise that went horribly wrong. Im so disappointed I paid the same amount and wish i woulf never of done it. It ruined her birthday and it was important. I understand if hes ill but at least give us somthing to say dont worry hes coming back we know nothing and to think now he may not be AEG and M.E.N will have problems we've all been ripped off just like the Norwich fans have too. Its disgusting!!!

Oh my! thats so bad, if he didnt finish the whole show then he should do it again or you should be able to get your money back.
I paid like £140 for seats in the 16th row! Im gonna ge sooo gutted if it dont go ahead but fingers crossed it does.

I've not long got back from seeing Neyo tonight at Newcastle and he was absolutely amazing!
I'm so pleased he managed to perform, the whole show was uterly sensational!
I hope he comes back to Newcastle next year at some point.
I've seen him twice now and will hopefully see him every time he comes back.

I'm currently on tour in the UK. This tour began right after a 4 month stint in Prague shooting a world war 2 movie. We're in a different city in a different part of the UK every night, moving non stop. Since my first album, roughly 5 years ago, I've taken 1 vacation, and even that was about 2 years ago.
Basically, I have an issue with not knowing when to say enough is enough, so last night in Manchester, my body said it for me. It got on stage energized and ready to go, even tho for the last 5 days I've been dealing with a sinus infection. I paid it no real mind, and kept on going, like I always do. My voice couldn't take it. From the first song I knew something was wrong. I shoulda stopped there, but I come from a school where no matter what, the show must
go on. It wasn't until about 4 songs in that I came to the painful realization that my voice was done, literally nothing left, and that I would have to stop the show.
Now let me explain something to you:
When I say this music, that stage, my fans, THIS is my life, I'm not saying it cause it sounds good in a sound bite.
THIS IS MY LIFE!!
Not much else matters to me, honestly. My music, my family and the people that appreciate my music.....the fans. THAT'S ABOUT IT!!
I've never had to stop a show, never dreamed I'd ever have to. So when I had to walk out on that stage and tell 12,000 of the people responsible for making me who I am that I could not perform for them, it literally broke my heart. I cried harder than I have in a very long time with no shame whatsoever.
To anyone out there that would like to question my manhood because of this I'll say this to you:
If the one thing you cared about more than anything else in the world was threatened or even taken from you, if you knew that the people you cared for the most you had to disappoint and it was your fault... and this didn't spark some kind of emotional outbreak within you...then with no shame I'll say you are truly a stronger man than I.
To the people of Manchester, know that I love you and I thank you for being so understanding and supportive. And I promise you that you will receive the show deserved.

no people who were booing were his fans i mean who would spend that much money on sum one who they arent true fans for it think that its because a lot of people were very very dissapointed that we walked off stage and before you say anything no i didnt boo him but i can see were other people were coming from. and if he didnt go to the liverpool echo the next day then maybe it would of been different and if we just got an email saying we will do another concert but its just taking its time to find a date suited for ne-yo and the m.e.n that would be very helpful
